Odds and Ends

Woodsgrown.com is located in the heart to central Pennsylvania.  The climate here in central Pennsylvania is near perfect for growing American Ginseng and other woodland plants.  All of our plants are grown in the forest and not in raised beds under shade cloth.  The only thing we add to the soil is composted oak leaves, maple leaves, and garden lime.  None of our plants are treated with pesticides, and they never will be.  I try to grow botanicals in the most natural way possible. Most of the work done on my beds is done by hand.  The only time machinery sees my beds is to lightly till the earth when planting seed.
